Recently the iPGN TF2 admin team has decided to try a new mod called TFTrue on the pug server. This mod makes damage static (so you won't be one shotting people or getting one shot by people) in order to make the game more skill orientated.
The TFTrue mod offers a new, slightly more unvarying type of gameplay where all damage is constant (the top end of a weapon's damage, added to the low end and then divided by two ((low end + top end)/2)) at a certain range. The damage falloff (lower damage over a distance) is of course still present within the game, otherwise it'd be extremely unbalanced!
