The admins and helpers over at #iPGN-Comp, unofficially and arguably the best pug service in Australia, would like to announce that Season 5 of iPGN-Comp is now live!

We have put several links on the home page to make it easier to navigate and find demos/stats/bans.
For the veteran players, there are some new features to make it run a lot smoother, such as an adjusted stat system to create fairer teams and individual players stats, a newly implemented MVP feature which is decided on a factors including;
- Highest DPR
- Best K/D Ratio
- Clutches
And as mentioned above, there is a new section on the stats page - clutches. It lists how many times you have clutched rounds in the season. Stats have also been reset, so everyone is on a level playing field.
To make sure we cater to everyone's needs, we currently have #ipgn-comp which is primarily for Melbourne players, and #ipgn-comp2 which is targeted at NSW/QLD players.
(note. Playing in either comps regardless of your location will only affect you latency-wise by 10-15ms.)
How to play:
- Connect to irc.gamesurge.net and join #ipgn-comp and #ipgn-comp2
- The bot should message you when you join if you're a new player. To create your account reply with: !steamid STEAM_x:x:xxxx name eg. !steamid STEAM_0:0:1337 PEKi
- You will receive a reply once your submission is accepted (manually accepted to prevent silly names etc)
- Wait for an admin to begin a game, once a game has started type !me in the channel to join and wait for it to begin.
Rules:
- Only admins can start games. Wait until a game starts and do NOT ask for a game. This may seem strict but rest assured its done in the best interest of all our players.
- If you have to leave, ask the admin in the game and he will deal with it accordingly. Do NOT just leave the game whenever you please.
- If you are banned for whatever reason, talk to the admin who banned you and be polite, as the admins have a system of respect in place and will not go above other admins with regards to bans.
- Cheating will result in an instant ban, we have a zero-tolerance policy on the subject.
If there are any problems/queries feel free to PM an admin for help. Remember the best way to get what you want is to be polite, demanding things or abusing admins will not be tolerated.
