Rented from Blockbuster
Played - About 20 minutes before getting bored, forced another 1/2 hour to get my money's worth.
Nice concept overall but the premise of being a movie stunt driver falls flat. People like these games because they get to act out a dark side and do things they're normally not allowed to, so doing it in the controlled environment in the context of a stunt driver isn't much fun. I also wanted to punch out the idiot director constantly whining that I was too slow. Controls are good, excellent damage effects and the different cars are noticably different. Graphics are ok but lag up badly in a few spots, soundtrack is average. The learning curve is pretty steep and progressing felt more like fluke so there's no real sense of acheivement. The build your own stunt track us hella fun and most of my play time was building the custom track and destroying cars, its the game's one saving grace.
Rating is 7/10, only because of the stunt track. Take that away and I give it a 4.
