THE HIVE IS HOSTING A COUNTERSTRIKE TOURNAMENT STARTING JULY 6TH (HOLIDAYS)!! WE NEED 100 CS TEAMS OF 5 TO PARTICIPATE IN VICTORIA. THIS IS AN INTERSTATE TOURNAMENT. THE WINNING TEAM IS AWARDED $800 CASH AND IS SENT TO QUEENSLAND ALL EXPENSES PAID TO PLAY AGAINST THE BRISBANE TEAM.
ANY PROMOTERS THAT SUPPLY 10+ TEAMS WILL BE TAKEN TO QUEENSLAND ALL EXPENSES PAID!
IF THE TEAM WINS IN BRISBANE THEY ARE AWARDED AN ADDITIONAL $1000 CASH!
**IF THIS TOURNAMENT FAILS IT MAY MEAN THE END OF THE HIVE, SUPPORT IS CRUCIAL IF YOU ALL WANT SPONSORSHIPS OR JOBS :D**
REGISTRATION COST: $25 PER PLAYER
PRIZES: $800 FIRST PLACE
$350 SECOND PLACE
$200 THIRD PLACE

this sounds dodgey, and only 800 for first place... what is the qld team? i'm in qld and haven't heard a word about it.
how many players, what maps, what rules? (ft10, mr12, co etc.)
you gotta provide more info than that, a website may be?

"Basically, each state, Queensland and Victoria respectively will be holding a Counter-Strike Preliminary. The top Team from each preliminary event will be flown to the alternate state to participate for $1000 prize money, with all travel and accomodation expenses paid. For the first event, the top Victorian team will be flown to Queensland to participate against the Queensland team(s).
100 Counter-Strike teams will be required from each state as participation. Any and all Queensland teams interested in participation are to register and/or seek enquiries from myself. Victorian teams interested in participation are to register and/or seek enquiries from Michael Scott/Leviathan.
Promoters capable of gathering 10 or more teams for the event ( advertising and telling them to participate on our behalf ) will be rewarded $1000. This bonus will be exclusive to the first 2 promoters, only. Once again, whether interest is involved in participation, promotion or assistance, dont hesitate to contact us.
Plans are being made, and I have scheduled meetings with Chris/Agamemnon from the Bunker in regards to venue and details, however, at this point in time, preliminaries will be going ahead at the following locations on the following dates:
QLD: The Bunker, Queen Street Mall, Brisbane, June 22-23.
VIC: N2C, Bourke Street, Melbourne (midcity arcade), June 29-30.
FINALS : The Bunker, Queen Street Mall, July 7"

100 teams, thats gonna take ages...
and only $800 com on..
yeh $25 x 5 is $125 x 100 is $12500 in both states that makes a total of $30 000 and only $800 goes to winner, I spose they have to pay for the air fairs and **** but...blagh

yer...but if it's all erxpenses paid then it's ok
