I'd say WRC II Extreme on PS2. It's only real competitor is Colin McRae 3, which IMO, blows.

In McRae 3, it seems like the cars are driving on ice with racing slicks. They slide all over the place, congrats to anyone who can turn a corner without sliding off the track or into a barrier.
Not to mention, the only car you can drive is the focus.

WRC II on the other hand allows you to choose from a range of cars, and they can actually turn.

I guess it just comes down to personal opinion though. If you like repeated failure because you can't work your car, Colin McRae 3 is your game. Otherwise, WRC II is the best rally game out there.

I cant believe u ppl r putting CM3 down like this,
the game is easily the best rally game on any console atm.
The handling feels good, the sounds effetcs are ood, the graphics are good, and some of the tracks are mad fun to play on. enough said
