I bought my GC when Harvey Norman was selling them for $200, can't remember when that was. I've also had a PS2 since '01.

Gamecube :)
and soon to be 6 games.
of course they have their childish games, but so does ps2 and xbox. And in no way are they the majority. Mario is all ages. All the time.

done baby :p
bought a gamecube, and im very impressed with the lineup of quality games available now (Mario Sunshine, Smash Bros., Metroid Prime, Zelda: Wind Waker) and coming soon (Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles, DK Racing).
i also have a PS2, and im happy with that (Metal Gear Solid 2, Final Fantasy X, GTA3, GTA: Vice City).
however, i am in no way considering an Xbox. useless pile of junk. maybe ill buy it if i run out of dinnerplates, so i can eat my food off the top of its gigantic casing, and use the massive chunky bitch controller to hold my drink.

Um I thought this was the console forum:rolleyes:
Anyway's I have been loyal to Nintendo ever since I got my NES back in the 80's, had every console they have brought out to date.
Xbox....pffft please Microsoft, spare me.
PS2, yer well good, but GC has the classics.

well...will probably end up getting another GC fairly soon...g/f loves the look of zelda & was like "would I actually like this game? it looks very cool..." etc...
As for the X-Box - well...it's mod-able, can play mame off it, and there's a nude patch out for DOA: Volleyball...what more could you want? ;)

i must say
metroid prime would have to be one of the best looking games on the planet atm.
there are some scenes where it looks photorealistic.

bah - Proj. Gotham is sucky-ish single player......is one hell of a hoot in multiplayer tho :)
and yea - Metroid Prime is absolutely amazing graphically...love the whole distortion thing when you fire off a charged beam..
or how the gun freezes over when you charge up the ice beam... they're a nice little touch & attention to detail :)
