View Full Version : Collingwoods Season in Trouble; Concern Over Hird's Neck
Well, after the 10th ever annual ANZAC Day Collingwood vs Essendon clash, the Bombers have run away with a 33 point victory over the Pies. This marks Collingwood's fourth loss for the season, leaving them with a record of 1 win and 4 losses, and a spot at 15th on the ladder. Thing's aren't set to get much better for Collingwood, with games against Port Adelaide (at AAMI Stadium) and St. Kilda in the next three weeks.
Also, there are concerns circulating at Essendon over a cramp in captain James Hird's neck. The cramp is suspected to have been caused by the tremendous weight of his Norm Smith, Brownlow, and three ANZAC Day Medals. Essendon trainers have recommended that Hird stop kicking so much ass, and take fewer names over the next few weeks until the cramp subsides.[/joke]

Not to fast, i only actually started watching AFL today... I've never watched it before, and i never considered it a sport, just gAyFL. How i was wrong. I wont get that Richmond joke until i see em play i guess...
Well, at least you're going for the right team.
Lol at the joke loki ;)
Collingwood imo arn't doing that bad, I mean when they get there players back and don't have such hard games (port in SA, st.kilda soon)
they will hit back imo

Ya! in the back of their mind, they are still thinking
To win a flag we have to beat brisbane, not once have we looked like doing it.
I think it something they should get past... I mean last year is completly different to this year... They arn't related at all
Mick should have hammered it into them to forget last year and focus on this year
They did the same thiung last year didn't they?
Start crappy then they had something like 10 melb games in a row and climbed up and up
Last year Collingwood were on top of the ladder for something like 3 weeks at the start of the season I think.
Let's not forget who Collingwood have lost to this year - Richmond and Fremantle (in Melbourne, too), which they should have won, Essendon and Brisbane fair enough, and their only win was against the Bulldogs (and they only just got away with that one).

if the eagles or dockers had 10 home games in a row, it would make things alot easier to make the top 4
