I thought it was crap.
When the players run out on the ground, you want to hear the ground announcer announce that they are comign onto the ground, then listen to the roar. Instead we had that little asshole talking over the whole thing, and when the crowd roared he just raised his voice. They missed the team photos aswell.
Boundry riders are suppose to be short and quick. Christie Malthouse is so bloody long winded and annoying. Obviously to cover up her lack of things to actually say.
Channel 10 rarely have replays of anything that happens, if they do you have to wait ages for them. Once they do there's usually only one angle. Channel 9 replay things quickly and always have about 3 angles on everything. They also had a few random cuts to like...nothing. And replayed the wrong thing once aswell, they showed someone celebrating a goal instead of something else.
The commentating was absolutely boring and repetitive. When Barry Hall was fighting with Wirrapunda there was nothing. If Brian Taylor (CH9 and MMM) was there he'd be screaming and yelling and firing everyone up. Half their commentators have never played football, and Silvagni is boring as bat****.
The angles they had at the medal presentations and everything were just crap. And how many god damn times do we have to cut to Ireland. WHO GIVES A ****. Who knows what else they missed.
Worst of all. The Siren. ****s sake one of the best feelings in the Grand Final is hearing that Siren go. Then watching the players erupt. Instead we heard nothing and just weird signs that it was over. It was such a let down. We hardly saw players celebrating just idiots in the crowd and other crap shots.
I dearly hope Ch10 and 7 dont get the football. Hopefully it will be Channel 9 and Foxtel and/or SBS.
