Colliers International’s WA division has today relocated to the Cloisters building, as the company continues to grow amid an active real estate market.

Colliers International has occupied 240 St Georges Terrace since it launched in January this year, after the former Colliers franchise rebranded to Cygnet West.

The company made the decision to move offices to accommodate for its continued growth.

It now occupies the fifth level of 200 St Georges Terrace, comprising 600 square metres.

The move follows the appointment of national director of office leasing Jemma Hutchinson, director Ross Skelton, associate director Antonio Trimboli, leasing executive Grace Bailey, among other recruits.

As Colliers International state chief executive Richard Cash was appointed to his role, he told Business News the company aimed to have at least 20 staff by the end of February this year.

He said the company was still expanding in WA and “actively recruiting, with several key appointments to be announced in late June”.

Mr Cash added that Colliers’ new location in WA provided it with the platform it needed to grow.

“Our new location provides us with an elevated platform to support our continued growth and ensure we continue to maximise the potential of the business to accelerate the success of our clients,” he said.

The real estate group recently negotiated leasing deals for 140 St Georges Terrace, Australia Place at 15-17 William Street, and 1 Walters Drive in Osborne Park.

Colliers also listed Busselton bar and restaurant The Equinox and is eyeing several other properties to market for sale.
